Foster Parent Association of WilkesSarah has overcome so many obstacles in her life. She works hard to be aware of the positives, trying not to dwell on the struggles. Despite all of her challenges, she remains self-confident. She lives on her own now and likes to cook and clean her own place. She has a great support system to help her get through the rough days. Having spent most of her teenage years in foster care, Sarah truly understands the difficulties of making it on her own and appreciates the importance of being self-sufficient.
For her birthday, Sarah is hoping for a new set of sheets. She really wants to make her bed feel fresh and cozy, which she believes will help her sleep better at night. There’s just something so nice about curling up in a bed with clean, soft sheets that makes her feel relaxed and ready for a good night’s sleep.
