He enjoys playing video games, is part of a gaming league, and loves being outdoors, especially playing basketball. Kaelub has expressed a desire to get a job and is also interested in joining the military. He came into care with a kinship family and was placed with two of his younger siblings, though he was separated from one of them. Despite the trauma Kaelub has experienced, he is doing very well in his placement.
Kaelub deals with bad knees and believes special insoles would help him jump higher and land smoother on the court. As a diehard basketball player this would be a dream come true for him.
