Alex is aging out of foster care and has decided to get a place of his own. He doesn't have a lot of support or financial resources. While he is excited about starting this new chapter in his life, he also feels nervous. Alex loves Taco Bell, going to the movies, hanging out with friends, and watching TV.

Alex has grown out of his dress shoes and wishes for a new pair. He would like to wear them to church and have them for all his special ocassions. This will boost his confidence and help him feel good about how he looks.
