Mason has spent the majority of his life in the foster care system. Because of his mental health and behavior, much of this time was spent in institutionalized settings. Now that he is older, Mason is getting his first taste of independence. He is continuing to utilize his support systems and trying to find his footing as an adult. Despite the challenges he has faced throughout his young life, Mason remains positive, funny, and upbeat. He is an intelligent young man who is learning what it means to be independent.

Mason has always been interested in music. In every placement he has (and there have been many!), he has turned to music as his creative outlet and safe space. Music has truly been the one consistent passion in his life. Mason has had guitars in the past, but unfortunately, throughout his many moves and unstable placements, he no longer has any. Mason is asking for a guitar so he can get back into his passion and ideally find some gigs to play so he can also make money! He is a very talented musician and even writes his own songs, but would be happy to join a cover band too if it means making money doing what he loves.
