Pip is a creative, driven young person who spent a significant amount of time in foster care. Having overcome great personal challenges, Pip now works to inspire others in the system to welcome volunteer mentors into their own lives. They dream of earning a college degree and entering a career in STEM. In their spare time, Pip enjoys dabbling in sculpture, such as making character masks from natural materials, and going on walks with their mentor.

Pip loves crafting, and lately, that's meant giving old clothing and fabric scraps a second life as new art pieces and textured collages. There's something about taking materials others would throw away and turning them into something meaningful that Pip finds genuinely grounding, almost meditative in how hands-on it is. Right now, Pip needs a sewing kit to keep working on a piece they've already started, but art supplies just aren't in the budget. Having the right tools on hand would let Pip finish what they've started and keep this creative outlet going, rather than putting their work on pause.
