A kitchen utensil set for Ross who wants to start learning how to cook in his first home
Ross, 19 years old, MO
Wish submitted by:
MO DSS Children's Division - Stoddard CountyRoss is a wonderful older youth in foster care. He is working full time at a fiber cable company while saving money. He just moved out of his foster home into his first apartment that he paid for. He is interested in going to college in the near future to study Engineering. Ross is the oldest of 3 siblings and has a lot on his shoulders of being a good support to his sisters. He recently completed an older youth program called MYLA, Missouri Youth Leadership Academy where he was awarded the MVP award.
Ross is choosing to remain in care for as long as he can to continue learning independent living skills with his case manager. Ross works long hours and uses his money for living expenses, his vehicle, savings, and paying down bills. With him recently moving into his own apartment, he is slowly gathering the items he needs and currently lacks most kitchen items. He could use a nice utensil set for all of his kitchen needs. This set will give Ross plenty of tools to make a variety of meals.
