Having experienced time in foster care, Destiny loves working with children and wants to obtain a degree in education. She currently works with young children at a daycare center. Not only is she smart, she is independent, strong and determined. Destiny is also a loving big sister.

Halloween is one of Destiny's favorite holidays, and this year she's excited to celebrate it as she steps into a new chapter of adulthood. As she ages out of foster care, she's losing some of the financial support she's relied on while taking on more responsibility than ever. A Halloween costume would ease the pressure of an extra expense during an already demanding transition, but it would also give Destiny something fun and lighthearted to look forward to. She's still figuring out exactly who she wants to be, and rather than picking something pre-decided, she'd love the chance to choose her own costume, something that actually feels like her. It would also let her fully take part in her preschool's Halloween parade with her students. Granting this wish would give Destiny a small, carefree moment of celebration during a season of so much change.
