Prominent Chapters Corp.Jacob grew up experiencing significant emotional and physical abuse and has faced repeated instability throughout his adult life. Three different times, he has had to completely start over with little to nothing, yet he has continued working tirelessly to rebuild and provide a stable life for his son. As a single father, Jacob has carried the responsibility of supporting and caring for his son largely on his own. Since the passing of his mother, who was his main source of support, that responsibility has become even heavier. Despite everything he has endured, Jacob remains devoted to his son and focused on creating the security and stability for him that Jacob did not always have growing up.
Jacob’s father is currently hospitalized in critical condition, and Jacob is trying to be by his side during what may be his last opportunity to spend time with him. A hotel room near the hospital would give Jacob a safe place to stay so he can remain close instead of having to leave because he has nowhere nearby to sleep. This wish would remove one major worry during an already heartbreaking situation and allow Jacob to focus on being present with his father, sharing precious time together, and having the opportunity to say goodbye if his father’s condition does not improve.
