A Montessori table and chair set for Winnie who needs a comfortable, independent way to eat and learn
Winnie, 1 year old, OH | 10 DAYS WAITING

Adriel Foster Care and Adoption - Logan CountyWinnie is an active and happy toddler. Although she sees her biological mom occasionally, she lives in foster care, where it is reported that she eats well and sleeps well. Winnie is talkative in her own way. Winnie is also good at sharing, and she gets along well with the other youth in the home. She also loves "reading" books and loves the animals on the foster family's farm.
Winnie has been in the foster home for 2 months, and while she eats well, she struggles to sit at the table or in her highchair while eating. This table set would provide a small, safe place to eat while still being included in family meals. The table would also create space to build independence through free movement, self-feeding control, and freedom from restraint. This table also promotes comfort and correct posture. Winnie will also use this for learning and reading. If Winnie returns home to her mom, this would go with her and help her mom as well.
