Elizabeth is a helpful, kind, and supportive individual who continues to build a meaningful life after aging out of foster care. She is actively involved in supporting a local nonprofit and finds purpose in giving back to her community. Elizabeth is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in social work with the long-term goal of becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), working within school systems to support youth. Her personal goals include securing a place to rent and moving out of her brother’s home, undergoing gastric bypass surgery as part of her health journey, and continuing her higher education. Elizabeth is committed to growth, stability, and creating a future where she can support both herself and others.

Elizabeth is on a journey of rediscovering herself, and she recently found something unexpected along the way. At a Moms Group painting activity, she picked up a brush during a hard season and found joy, comfort, and a sense of peace she had been missing. Painting helps her quiet her mind, express herself, and focus on something positive. An acrylic paint set would let her keep exploring this new passion at home, on her own time, and keep building on the happiness she has just begun to find.
