Prominent Chapters Corp.Via grew up in a deeply religious household, but when they found the courage to come out as queer, they were met with rejection instead of acceptance. Rather than receiving the love, understanding, and protection every child deserves, Via was kicked out of their home by their mother simply for being who they are. They entered foster care and eventually aged out of the system, having spent some of their most important years without the stability, security, and unconditional love of a family. Despite the painful experiences they have endured, Via has found joy in creativity and self-expression. They love photography and attending drag shows, where they can be surrounded by people who celebrate individuality, authenticity, and the freedom to be themselves. After spending so much of their childhood feeling unwanted for who they are, Via deserves a future filled with acceptance, happiness, belonging, and the freedom to live unapologetically as themselves.
Via is working to build a life where they feel safe, accepted, and independent. Help with groceries and everyday essentials would ease financial stress and allow them to keep their kitchen stocked without constantly worrying about their next meal. After so much uncertainty, meeting their basic needs would provide a sense of security and stability as Via continues working toward the independent future they deserve.
