UC Riverside - Guardian Scholars ProgramIvette is a second year university student. She has hopes to become a social worker after graduation. She is one of the nicest students you will meet and is very protective over her younger siblings. She enjoys movies, dancing, and karaoke. A dedicated student and sister, Ivette says that she just wants to do good in her community after graduation.
It is an amazing accomplishment for a foster youth to be able to attend a university; Ivette will be entering her second year as a student and her first as a Guardian Scholar. She would LOVE the chance to go to target and choose new items for her dorm, purchase food, and hygienic items. We want to welcome her into her new Guardian Scholars family and help her start the new school year off on the right foot.
