Shawn is a wonderful young man who, despite struggling with the lasting effects of abuse and neglect, has a bright and caring spirit. With many special needs, he requires a high level of care and attention, but he thrives when he is part of a loving family. Shawn enjoys working on fixing things and finding satisfaction in hands-on activities. He has a fondness for Chick-fil-A and loves listening to music in his downtime. Driven by his passion for helping others, Shawn aspires to become a teacher someday, eager to make a positive impact in the lives of those around him.

Shawn is a high maintenance kiddo! He is an on the go type of fellow! That's why his foster parents recently excepted a Great Pyrenees puppy to be his companion dog and hopefully grow to be his therapy dog. Polly stays right on Shawn's heels and is doing everything they expected her to do!! She's a friend, a comfort, a bring you back home kinda of puppy!! Shawn has difficulty with running and not knowing how to use coping skills properly. Polly is helping out with this all ready! Shawn wishes to give his new puppy training classes and be able to learn how to care and train Polly himself so they can be life long buddies!!
