A Trip to Walmart for Desiree who wants new under clothes
Desiree, 20 years old, TX
Wish submitted by:
The Homes for Children CorporationDesiree spent several years in foster care, navigating a complex emotional landscape after her sister faced adoption. That experience, along with the conflicting stories her mother gave them about their situation, weighed heavily on her growing up. Despite these challenges, Desiree grew into a smart, loving, and affectionate young woman, filled with hope for the future. Today, Desiree is an adult building a life of her own. She is a mother to one child and is expecting another, and she continues to carry the same determination and intelligence that carried her through her early years. She dreams of becoming a teacher one day, inspired by her own experiences. Her creativity and strength in math and science remain a source of pride as she works to build a better future for her growing family.
Desiree has grown since has been in care and has grown to the point that she needs a completely new wardrobe including her under clothes. She would like to go to Walmart to choose her new items that she likes. This will help her to feel more independent as well.

The Homes for Children Corporation requests this wish for Desiree.

"Hi, Desiree. I hope you enjoy your trip to the store and are able to get everything you need. I know it can be rough sometimes, especially when you’re growing up and going through so many changes. But, Desiree, I want you to know that you that no matter how tough things get, you have a future filled with love and kindness waiting for you. Until then, can you please do me a favor? Always smile. With all the love in the world, Rida"
