Nylayah is spunky and energetic, and has learned to use her voice to be assertive. She tries to keep up with her older sister, and has also grown significantly in the resource home. Nylayah has some special needs, including a trauma history, and stunted development in some areas including emotional and self-regulation. She also enjoys playing and going to school. Nylayah’s resource parents note that one of her strengths is being able to sense when someone is upset, and trying to comfort them. She is sensitive and sympathetic toward others.
