Thanksgiving meal for Connie who is going through a lot

Posted Nov 27, 2019
Connie just had a baby, and almost everyone in her household is sick, including her husband, who was going to cook. To make things worse, her stove is not working so they aren't going to be able to enjoy a family Thanksgiving meal together. Having this wish granted would give Connie and her family the chance to still celebrate all of the many blessings in their life.

Constance is 39 years old and lives in PA

From Connie: "I am a college student, wife, mama of two super amazing kiddos (adopted via kinship foster care), dog mama, 3rd generation former foster youth, mental health & foster care advocate. I like books,I can spend HOURS in a book store, writing, lake trips, singing, dancing, music, photography, boats, comedy shows, kickboxing, and llamas, they are sooo cute! My hopes and dreams are to raise my kids to be kind, thoughtful and empowered human beings, graduate college with honors, launch my own foundation to support foster families, youth and alumni, author a book, learn to swim, ride a bike and drive, travel to Spain to visit my big sis, and Italy for a long overdue honeymoon with my hubby, break the generational cycle of foster care placement in my family, and give myself grace. My all time favorite quote is "To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children, to leave the world a better place, to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived, this is to have succeeded." by Ralph Waldo Emerson"
