Joselyne will admit, 2020 was an intense year but 2021 is looking up. She is so excited to graduate high school and move onto bigger and better things. Before she graduates, there is one special event she deserves to experience- prom! Joselyne dreams of having an unforgettable prom full of elegance and glamour. Joselyne would love to buy the perfect prom dress, shoes, jewelry, and a handbag for the special occasion. She'd love to be able to get her nails and hair done too. She deserves all of this and more! This will be a night to make long lasting memories and take plenty of pictures. A special and beautiful prom is exactly what this hardworking and vibrant young lady deserves.
Joselyne is 21 years old and lives in TX
Joselyne was born in Africa in a refugee camp in Tanzania. Her biological parents were from Burundi and fled to Tanzania to avoid the civil war in Burundi. She was not been able to be adopted because she has no birth certificate. Tanzania says Joselyne is a Burundi citizen and Burundi says Joselyne is a Tanzania citizen. Since being in foster care, Joselyne’s permanency team has been fighting for her citizenship. Joselyne is a beautiful and intelligent young lady. Despite the bumps in the road, she has big plans for her future! She wants to be a labor and delivery nurse. Joselyne has a kind spirit and wants to give back give back to the world.
