David wishes for a new red backpack because he needs a new, sturdy backpack. This will give him a clean fresh look as he goes to school and boost his self confidence level. He was glad to start a new school when he came into foster care and feels better about making friends and how he’s treated by others.
David is 18 years old and lives in NC
David loves football and enjoys playing video games. His favorite color is red, and he cares deeply for his sisters. He has struggled with self-confidence and faced challenges in school. However, since entering foster care, he has received help that is enabling him to learn more effectively. This support has greatly improved his life, and he is beginning to develop a more positive outlook.
