Shakiya is working on a school assignment and while some is due now, some is due after christmas break. She is wanting to do an elaborate presentation with her assignment which each of the persons listening will get a binder of the assigned work. She is asking for binders to for her project.
Shakiya is 19 years old and lives in NC
Shakiya has been in foster care for just a short while, and loves basketball! She is on her school's girls' basketball team. She is very studious, and knows she has to be to be able to play basketball. She would like to go on to college, but hasn't decided where. She is interested in getting a basketball scholarship to help her through college. Shakiya is friendly and kind, but tends to want to stay out of the drama that she feels others find themselves in. She likes to keep her room neater vs. cluttered, claiming herself a "neat freak".
