At the age of 14, Kim went into foster care after being failed by the system over and over again. She aged out at 17 with no support system in place. After 12 years of struggling, pushing hard, and never quitting, she was the first in her family to graduate college. Kim now serves others who were in foster care, providing a community where they feel they belong and know they aren't forgotten. She has been married for 14 years, is a mother to three amazing children, and is in awe of the love she has found.

"Hello Little One! My baby sister would have been 26 today, her name was Allie and she was truly wonderful, like you. This gift is in her memory. I hope that you have fun at your convention, I recently went to Misha's book signing when he came through and it was quite wonderful - I hope you have the same experience with Timothy. Stay safe and please know you are loved and how much you matter to this world. All the love, Ben "
