After growing up in foster care and frequently moving from place to place, Laila is finally stepping into her very first home. For the first time, she can decorate her walls, cook her own meals, and enjoy the quiet peace that comes with stability. However, even with the excitement of independence, starting from scratch can be overwhelming. Laila is working hard to furnish her new place on a tight budget, often prioritizing essentials over comfort.
