After growing up in foster care and frequently moving from place to place, Laila is finally stepping into her very first home. For the first time, she can decorate her walls, cook her own meals, and enjoy the quiet peace that comes with stability. She is eager to create a home for herself and her dog, a place where she can relax after a long day at school. Currently, she is completing a few core classes before enlisting in the United States Marines.
