Josiah is a very active, curious, loving, and freckle-nosed little boy. He is imaginative and creative, and loves building creations with Legos, clay, blocks, even strings and cardboard.He is shy around strangers, but warms up quickly! He just completed kindergarten this year and thoroughly loved having friends to play with for the first time since he has no siblings and never attended daycare or pre-school. He had birthday parties to attend and field trips to experience and a wonderful teacher. One of his field trips really spurred his interest in music. We listen to classical music on the drive to school every morning and at bedtime, he always asks for “his Beethoven music” which is a compilation of musical selections by many famous composers and with children-suitable lyrics added.

Josiah is wishing for a big keyboard, a REAL keyboard and not a little toy one. He wants to play music like Beethoven and hopes to take lessons one day. His grandmother wants Josiah to have the gift of music and appreciate the joy it can bring. He has such a huge interest in music and she hopes to catch this precious moment and encourage his interest. A real keyboard would expand his knowledge of music and provide him with skills that are long lasting. If he were to receive the keyboard he is dreaming of, his face will light-up, squeals will erupt, and lots of music will be had! Beethoven and Bach better watch out!
