Khadijah had a really terrible trauma-filled start in life but is doing amazingly well since living with her aunt and uncle. When she went to live with them, she was finding food in trash cans to keep from starving. Now, she is a happy, energetic little girl who likes girly things and almost always has a smile. She likes playing dress up and pretending to be a princess. She tells her family that she is home and is never leaving!

Khadijah is in need of a warm winter coat before the really cold weather arrives. She had received a new coat from a local charity, but it was too small for her. Her aunt has asked for a new warm coat to keep Khadijah comfortable during the cold winter months. This is a long coat that will also help keep her little legs warm. She will be so appreciative and love receiving the coat she picked out herself!
