Alexa has witnessed her mother and father come in and out of prison throughout her life. Despite this, she still loves her family and is determined to study law, inspired by her experiences as a witness to her parents' ongoing struggles with the criminal court system. Alexa is currently a straight-A student and was recently placed on the Dean's List at Santa Monica City College. If she can obtain a scholarship, she plans to pursue a law degree at Pepperdine University.

Alexa grew up in the Santa Monica area and is currently attending Santa Monica City College. She is living with her grandmother in Long Beach, California, to be close to her younger siblings and family members. As a full-time college student, Alexa has a busy schedule that requires her to drive to Santa Monica three times a week. To help save some of her hard-earned money from her part-time job, she is in need of a gas gift card.
