Kim entered foster care during the holidays, one of the hardest times to be uprooted. She came in scared and angry. She has been settling in since then. Starting a new school was tough, but she is finding her footing. She feels safe now. Kim has a new dog she loves, movies to watch, and food in the house.

Kim's phone battery keeps dying, and she is looking for a magnetic portable charger to carry in her backpack. This would allow her to stay charged while on the go and eliminate her worries about having a dead battery. It would be especially helpful for those long days when she has appointments after school.
