A stick LED light for Dalton to help get rid of shadows as he welds

Dalton, 20 years old

Wish submitted by:

Foster Parent Association of Wilkes

Dalton is a shy young man who enjoys fishing, hiking, and spending time outdoors. He has aged out of the foster care system and likes to run, play ball, and hang out with friends. He always has plenty of energy and is ready for activities! Sometimes, school can be challenging for him, but he is putting in a good effort to do his best and learn. Dalton comes from a sibling group of 11, which has been separated by the foster care system. He is currently enrolled in a college welding program.

Dalton wishes for a stick LED light to eliminate shadows while he welds. This will brighten his workspace and help him weld more accurately. While in foster care, he underwent three eye surgeries to improve his vision due to the abuse and neglect he suffered. Although he still experiences some difficulties, this light will make his job easier.
