Foster Parent Association of WilkesDalton is a shy young man who enjoys fishing, hiking, and spending time outdoors. He has aged out of the foster care system and likes to run, play ball, and hang out with friends. He always has plenty of energy and is ready for activities! Sometimes, school can be challenging for him, but he is putting in a good effort to do his best and learn. Dalton comes from a sibling group of 11, which has been separated by the foster care system. He is currently enrolled in a college welding program.
Dalton would like a battery charging kit to use with his new power tools while learning to weld. He is currently learning how to operate these tools and is really enjoying the experience. As a child, he was often told that he could not do anything, so learning how to use these tools helps him feel a sense of achievement. This newfound skill gives him a sense of self-confidence and reassures him that he is capable of accomplishing tasks. This battery charger will keep his tools going so he can keep creating!
