Skyla is very shy and is learning to communicate in a world that feels different from others. She has enjoyed watching Cocomelon in sign language and loves princesses. As she is in foster care, Skyla is also adjusting to being in a placement away from her parents.

Skyla has recently begun her journey in foster care, and she’s working hard to adjust to life away from her family. As she settles into her new environment, Skyla and her resource family are taking steps to improve their communication with one another.
