NM CYFD - San Juan CountySkyla is shy at first but has a lot going on beneath the surface as she learns to communicate in a world that works differently for her. She loves Cocomelon in sign language, adores princesses, and is adjusting to a new placement away from her parents.
Skyla has recently begun her journey in foster care, and she’s working hard to adjust to life away from her family. As she settles into her new environment, Skyla and her resource family are taking steps to improve their communication with one another. To help her in this process, Skyla would love a book that can guide her in learning how to express herself and connect with those around her.
