During that time, she faced numerous challenges, but she also developed resilience, independence, and strong advocacy skills. Her experiences have fueled her deep commitment to building a better future for herself and her daughter. She is a part of Florida Youth Shine, a youth-run, peer-driven organization comprising current and former youth in foster care or those who have experienced homelessness. Knowledge is remarkable because she has mentored other youth and has received countless awards for her efforts. She has not allowed her past to dictate her future and plans to apply the "knowledge" (after which she is named) that she has gained to improve her life. Recently, Knowledge achieved a significant milestone by transitioning into her own apartment. This new space represents safety, stability, and a fresh start for her family.
