Jacob was in foster care since the age of 12. He has overcome a lot of tragedy and grief in his young life and has become a man of strong character. He has emancipated himself from foster care and is a hard-working father who has his children residing with him. He loves his two babies and cares for his family in his time away from work. He is such a hard worker that he is known by his co-workers as “Super-Jake”. He is always willing to take on challenging jobs and even returns to his former transitional housing program to offer help and mentor other transitional-aged youth. Jake is also going to college part-time online.

Jacob is a dedicated young father doing his best to make his new apartment feel like home for his family. Unfortunately, the apartment has very limited kitchen cabinet space, making it difficult to organize and store food, cookware, and everyday essentials. A kitchen pantry cabinet would provide much-needed storage and help create a more functional, organized space for preparing meals and caring for his child. This simple addition would ease daily stress and help Jacob build a warm, stable environment for his family’s fresh start.
