Eugene is the oldest of three children. He was recently removed from his mother’s care and is now in guardianship as he awaits adoption. Eugene is going through one of the most difficult transitions in his life. Despite everything, he is an active teen who loves sports and enjoys helping take care of his siblings. He dreams of becoming a basketball player one day and hopes to play for the Dallas Mavericks.

After being removed from his mother’s care, Eugene is starting over with very few personal belongings. As the oldest of three, he has struggled to have basic everyday necessities. Eugene is asking for a gift card so he can purchase clothing that fits him and essential toiletries like deodorant. Like many teenagers, he simply wants to feel comfortable, confident, and like he fits in. This is wish 2 of 2.
