Mya joined her family through foster care in 2019. She began dancing in February 2020 at just 18 months old, but after only one month at the studio, COVID shut the world down. Even that couldn’t stop her love for dance. At home, every chance she got, she would ask Alexa to play music and dance like no one was watching. Mya is a bright, spirited girl whose joyful personality lights up every room she enters. She has a passion for dancing, gymnastics, makeup, and making memories while traveling with her family. Her kind heart, confidence, and playful sass make her uniquely herself.

After auditioning once again, Mya worked hard and earned a spot on the dance team! Beyond building her skills and technique, dance has given her confidence, joy, and a strong sense of belonging. She is wishing for financial assistance to cover the cost of her required dance team attire. Receiving this support will ensure she has all the necessary gear to participate fully, grow with her studio, and shine as a member of her new team.
