Central Missouri Foster Care & Adoption AssociationHayden is a thoughtful and driven young person with a strong love for learning and a clear vision for the future. His aunt has been a strong support for him through everything. He enjoys reading, exploring new ideas, and challenging himself academically as he prepares for the next chapter of life. Hayden is especially excited about going to college and aims to become a middle school counselor to support and guide other kids through their challenges. He also enjoys spending time unwinding with activities like playing murder mystery games, which allow him to think critically while having fun. His curiosity and passion for understanding others truly stand out. Hayden experienced the heartbreaking loss of his parents in a car accident. Despite this unimaginable hardship, he continues to show incredible strength and resilience. He remains focused on his goals and determined to turn his experiences into something meaningful by helping others. Hayden’s compassion, perseverance, and hope for the future make him an inspiring young person with so much potential ahead.
Hayden wishes for a new mattress because his current mattress is old, worn out, and no longer provides the comfort and support he needs. After a difficult foster care journey marked by instability and uncertainty, Hayden has finally found permanency in a long-term kinship placement. Having a comfortable mattress of his own would help make his new home feel truly permanent and secure. A good night's sleep would support his physical and emotional well-being, while also giving him a space where he can relax, feel safe, and continue building a positive future. Receiving this wish would mean more than just a new mattress—it would help him feel valued, supported, and at home.
