Nick is a thoughtful and resilient young man who has been in foster care for several years. He continues to show remarkable strength as he navigates care. Nick is incredibly smart, taking AP classes to challenge himself academically. When he's not focused on school, he loves skateboarding with friends, capturing meaningful moments through photography, and showing off his love for Sonic the Hedgehog.

Nick just had his birthday and was excited to unwrap gifts from his brother and grandmother. Unfortunately, he’s been really upset because some of those gifts have gone missing in his foster home, and no one can figure out where they went. Nick has been extremely upset and does not want to remain in the home as a result. He feels that having a safe would help ease his mind, knowing he could keep his belongings secure.
