Hope is a young woman who has been in the foster system since her early adolescent years and has also been diagnosed with an intellectual disability. Despite a genuinely hard upbringing, she continues to be a bubbly, caring person who lights up the people around her. She loves doing art and crafts, enjoys cooking, and plays video games with her older brother, managing to keep that relationship close now that they're both older and able to visit each other. Hope has a real gift for turning hard things into something creative.

Hope is currently adjusting to a new placement and missing the sense of familiarity she had before. She's requested a drawing tablet to help her cope with this transition, combining her love of art and video games into one meaningful outlet. Art has always been Hope's way of expressing herself when words aren't enough, and after a tough year that included a new placement and the loss of a close relative, this gift would give her a healthy way to process everything she's feeling.
