Javon has taken up cooking over the past few months and wants to do his part to help out where he currently lives. He would like to purchase a few pots and pans and other kitchen essentials that he can contribute to the household until he is able to move out on his own this summer. Then, he will take those items to his new apartment for a fresh start.
Javon is 25 years old and lives in CA
Javon is a former foster youth who has been on his own since turning 18 and aging out of the system. He preferred to handle his life on his own rather than continue to transition from one unstable or unhealthy environment to another. Javon is currently working a good job and striving to get his own apartment next year. While things in LA can be hard during a pandemic, Javon refuses to give up.
