Think of UsJavon is a former foster youth who has been on his own since turning 18 and aging out of the system. He preferred to handle his life on his own rather than continue to transition from one unstable or unhealthy environment to another. Javon is currently working a good job and striving to get his own apartment next year. While things in LA can be hard during a pandemic, Javon refuses to give up.
Javon has been getting his ducks in a row and transitioning back into housing and looking for work. But while he waits to see if he'll be approved for CalFresh, he would like to have some help at the grocery store so he can buy a few more things than what he's been receiving at the local food pantries.
