Mecklenburg County Guardian ad LitemIsla has been in and out of foster care her whole life, her parents were both deported when she was a baby. She has no extended family, and now resides with a foster family who is able to allow Isla to stay with them after she turns 18 so she can finish high school next year. She is loving her new high school, and has said that this school is her best experience at school so far. Isabella is excited to turn 18 in October and is looking forward to senior activities at school such as graduation photos, cap & gown ordering, senior night, and planning for spring prom. She wants to go to college next year and would like to study psychology!
Isla wish is to purchase new clothes. She is very conscious of her growth, weight and height. She is excited about attending a regular school for the 8th grade, she is very worried about fitting in and looking her best. With this wish she will be able to get a few clothing items to help her feel her best and express her personality.
